Women Deliver and the Symposium to Strengthen Midwifery were two inspiring events in June of 2010. ICM and UNFPA organized the Symposium to gather midwives from around the world to address the need to scale up midwifery efforts in order to meet the MDG5 goals. This is where Precious and I met.
